描述

Refined Comfort Meets Performance

The evolution of a classic! The SQLab 612 Ergowave 2.1 brings enhanced pressure relief, refined comfort and e-bike compatibility to SQLab’s proven performance design. Made in Spain with precision European engineering.

🚴 Why Choose the SQLab 612 2.1 Ergowave Saddle?

The SQLab 612 Ergowave 2.1 Saddle represents the next generation of SQLab’s performance road saddle design. Built on years of rider feedback and ergonomic research, this updated model refines the proven Ergowave shape with enhanced pressure relief, optimised padding density and expanded sizing options to deliver exceptional comfort without sacrificing performance.

What makes the 2.1 special? SQLab’s engineers have fine-tuned the balance between support and comfort. The slightly softer padding works with an improved 65% perineal relief area to reduce pressure on sensitive tissues while maintaining the structural support serious riders need. The result is a saddle that feels noticeably more comfortable on long rides, endurance events and all-day adventures without becoming squishy or compromising power transfer.

The wave-like Ergowave design remains at the heart of this saddle’s design: its raised rear section stabilises your pelvis, and the lowered nose creates clearance where it matters most. This geometry supports proper pelvic rotation, enhances pedalling efficiency and helps maintain healthy blood flow and nerve function—all critical factors for both performance and long-term comfort.

Manufactured in Spain with meticulous European craftsmanship, the updated 612 2.1 now includes e-bike compatibility, plus an additional 16cm width option for better fit across a wider range of body types. With lightweight S-Tube rails, carbon-reinforced base and a slim 270mm profile, it’s versatile enough for everything from Sunday club rides to multi-day gran fondos.

If you’re looking for the latest refinement in SQLab’s proven road saddle technology, the 612 Ergowave 2.1 delivers exactly that evolution.

Searching for the previous version? We’ve got one 15cm left on clearance.

Pro Bike Mechanic’s Tip

The 612 Ergowave 2.1’s slightly softer padding and enhanced pressure relief make it ideal for riders who want all-day comfort without compromising performance. However, if you have back issues or uneven sit bone pressure points, we’d recommend the 612 Ergowave Active 2.2 with SQLab’s spine-relieving active technology instead. Don’t forget to measure your sit bones for proper width selection!
