SQLab 60X Ergowave Active 2.2 Saddle – Latest Generation Comfort for All-Mountain, Enduro & e-MTB

The SQLab 60X Ergowave Active 2.2 is the newest evolution of SQLab’s best-selling trail saddle. Updated with a shorter nose and customisable comfort system, it’s designed for riders who demand modern ergonomics, all-day support and maximum control across technical terrain.

🚴 Why Upgrade to the SQLab 60X Ergowave Active 2.2?

The 2.2 takes everything riders loved about the 60X 2.1 saddle and refines it for today’s all-mountain and enduro bikes. The nose has been shortened by around 2 cm for greater mobility on steep climbs and dynamic descents, while still retaining the proven Ergowave shape that supports sit bones and relieves pressure on sensitive areas.

With the Active 2.1 system carried over, the saddle moves subtly with your pelvis to reduce strain and boost pedalling efficiency. You also get your choice of three interchangeable elastomers (soft, medium, hard) so you can fine-tune the flex to match your riding style. Add in SQLab’s grippy rear material and reinforced edges, and you’ve got a saddle that’s trail-ready and built to last.

Key Features

• Shorter Nose for More Freedom: About 2 cm shorter than the 2.1, giving you extra clearance on technical terrain
• Ergowave Step Shape: Raised rear section and mid-saddle dip support sit bones, reduce perineal pressure and keep you planted on climbs
• Built for the Trail: CrMo hollow rails, impact-resistant microfiber cover, reinforced edges and Superlight foam padding
• Secure Grip: Textured rear keeps you steady during hard pedalling and steep ascents
• Precise Fit Options: Available in different widths for correct sit-bone support and pressure distribution

Pro Bike Mechanic’s Tip

If you liked the 6OX 2.1 saddle but wanted more clearance on steep drops or technical switchbacks, the 2.2 is the upgrade you’ve been waiting for. Pair it with a dropper post and you’ll feel the benefit of the shorter nose straight away.
